3 Tips To Keep Aquarium With Fish Pets Clean
Once the aquarium is purchased, installed and filled with water, planted plants and populated with fish pets, working life of a newfound fish owner begins. Some kind of fish in aquarium feels great, some – does not. Some plants start to grow rapidly, while others turn yellow and lose their leaves. Compassionate family can feed the allegedly “hungry” fish four times a day and the next morning half the inhabitants are belly-up in the aquarium. And aquarist rushes to the nearest pet store for help his fish pets.
Secrets of clear water
Achieving cleanliness in the aquarium with fish pets for beginners is a tricky business. Meanwhile, when the water becomes cloudy and then it changes, the aquarium is ugly fish often die. What are the “secrets” of clean water? First, let’s talk about a warm water aquarium: it is most suitable for beginners.
1. Clean from the very beginning
Wash your aquarium carefully. When the sides and bottom are completely clean, rinse them again with saturated sodium chloride solution or a pink solution of potassium permanganate. And then rinse again under running water. Take large and dark sand; wash it in a bucket under the faucet until the water is clear. After this boil the sand and rinse several times under running water. After that, put sand on the bottom in 3-5cm layer. 2. Lighting
If the aquarium is on the window, they often think it’s quite light for fish pets. 3. ”Living” water

This is multiplied bacteria; spores, which fall from the air or with the plants. And it is here that beginners often make the mistake: changing the water and it all starts again. Meanwhile, if you wait for three to five days, the turbidity will disappear. The water then becomes clear, slightly yellowish. Such water aquarists call “living”: it is already common microscopic aquatic inhabitants, mainly, the image of ciliates, there is some amount of organic matter, a little of bacteria, since multiplied ciliates kill their surplus. Thus, your fish pets are going to be in safe hands!
